Permanent Makeup (Brows · Lips · Eyeliner)
Careful preparation and gentle aftercare help your results heal beautifully and last. Please read these before your appointment.
Before your appointment
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment. If you take aspirin, ibuprofen, fish-oil supplements, blood thinners, or other medications that may increase bleeding or bruising, ask your doctor before making any changes; please don't stop prescribed medication on your own.
- Avoid retinol, AHAs, and exfoliating treatments on the area for at least 7 days prior.
- No Botox or filler in the treatment area within 2 weeks before your appointment.
- Active irritation, sunburn, or breakouts in the treatment area may require your appointment to be rescheduled. If any of them appear beforehand, call or message the studio instead of coming in: with 48 hours' notice your deposit moves to your new date free of charge, the first time you reschedule (see the Booking Policy).
- For lip blush: if you have ever had cold sores, you'll need to take an antiviral before your appointment, because the procedure can trigger an outbreak. It's a prescription medicine — your doctor or pharmacist will prescribe it and tell you when to start.
- Arrive with the treatment area clean and makeup-free if possible.
- Eat a normal meal before you arrive — it helps comfort and steadiness.
After your appointment
- Keep the area clean and dry for the first 24 hours; gently blot with sterile gauze if lymph appears.
- Apply the provided aftercare balm sparingly as instructed — a little is enough.
- Until the surface has fully healed (usually about 10–14 days): no makeup on it, and no sweat-heavy workouts, saunas, pools, or hot yoga. Makeup elsewhere on your face is fine.
- Do not pick, scratch, or rub flaking skin — let it shed naturally to protect the pigment.
- Avoid direct sun exposure during healing; once healed, SPF is your pigment's best friend.
- Sleep slightly elevated and on your back for the first few nights if possible.
- Expect the colour to look darker for the first week, then soften — final healed colour settles by 4–6 weeks.
- Questions during healing? Message the studio anytime — you're never on your own.
